Who we are

The Burrow Brief is published by KCS Global Group, a digital publishing company based in Durg, Chhattisgarh, India. It was founded by Sameer Patel, Founder & CEO of KCS Global Group.

A team of seven people researches, writes, edits and updates our content. We started this site because small pet care advice online is often outdated, copied from old forum posts, or written only to sell a product. Our goal is simple: give owners accurate, practical answers they can act on today.

How we create every guide

Each article goes through the same process. You can read the full details in our Editorial Policy.

1. Start with a real owner question

   We pick topics based on what small pet owners actually ask, such as how big a hamster cage should be or which bedding is safe.

2. Research trusted sources

   We study guidance from animal welfare organizations, veterinary references and published care standards, and note where they agree or disagree.

3. Analyze and compare

   We compare recommendations, measurements and products side by side so you get a clear answer instead of a list of opinions.

4. Write, edit and fact-check

   A writer drafts the guide, and a second team member checks facts, figures and sources before publishing.

5. Review and update

   We revisit published guides when care standards change or readers point out an error, and we show the last updated date on every article.
